While traveling in North Georgia on business, as a sales rep, Kris noticed signs for vineyards that offered wine tastings. She occasionally would stop at the end of the workday to partake of the wine tastings and found that they all tasted very good. Not to mention, that all seemed to be located in very beautiful, picturesque locations. This was too good not to share with others. What if she could bring groups of people up here to do wine tastings at several of the wineries and they wouldn’t have to worry about driving?
That’s how Go Wine! Was born.

Sit back, relax and enjoy a day of wine tasting in the beautiful north Georgia Mountains and leave the driving to us.
We will visit up to 6 vineyards/wineries in the Jasper and Ellijay area. Most are family owned and part of Georgia’s Agritourism. They all offer wine tastings, a glass of wine and/or bottles for purchase. Please note, wine tastings are not included in our pricing. You must be at least 21 years of age…we will card!
We accommodate groups from 4-13 people and will pick you up anywhere in North metro Atlanta and suburbs. If you are in the southern part of the city, we will figure out a mutually agreed on location for pick up or the North springs MARTA station. Up to 3 stops per tour. 4 person minimum.
If you require a pick-up in Ellijay or Big Canoe there is an additional $100 surcharge per group.
The tours will last approximately 6-8 hours returning between 6:00 and 7:00 PM. Occasionally, the wineries will be hosting special events and we will let you know about these when booking your reservation.
The Vineyards we’ll be visiting may include: Chateau Meichtry, Fainting Goat, Engelheim, Cartecacy, Sharp Mountain, Big Door, Ott Farms, Grapes & Ladders, Ellijay River and Buckley. We will plan the itinerary or if you have specific destination requests you want to visit, then we will be glad to oblige…This is your Day!
